Beans Maintain Firmer Tone

VANCOUVER - Nov 16/13 - SNS -- The world's dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading little changed with available supplies of some classes of beans remaining behind the short term needs of the market.

Domestic markets in the United States experienced more price movement than usual as new crop beans became more widely available.

White beans remain the strongest sector within the complex as consumers try to make up for shortages of their preferred calibers.
