Mixed Week on Bean Markets
VANCOUVER - Nov 9/13 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets registered a mixed performance on the week despite continued strength in some individual classes of beans.
The USDA updated this year's dry edible bean seeded area estimate, but it did not break down area by state.
Interestingly, the production estimate was left unchanged. Planted area was pegged at 1.34 million acres, down 23% from the previous year.
