VANCOUVER - Sep 22/12 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean markets finished the week on a slightly easier tone against the improved availability of new crop product.
This was reflected in a 31 point decline in the spot price index for U.S. beans to 1351 points during the week.
The grower bid index for beans dropped a similar amount, finishing at 1261 points, with growers bids accounting for roughly 83.5% of the value of North American beans.
