Beans Transition into New Crop

VANCOUVER - Sep 15/12 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading little changed, while North American markets completed the adjustment into a new crop pricing basis.

This was reflected in a drop in the weighted average asking price for U.S. origin beans from U.S. $48.51 per 100 pounds (cwt) to $46.09.

The weighted average grower bid was also down on the week, dropping from $40.35 to $38.55 cwt.
