VANCOUVER - Sep 3/12 - STAT -- U.S. Large Lima Bean markets finished the 2011-12 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 7% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $65.00 per cwt in November, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $50.40 per cwt in June.
During the latest three year period, the highest monthly average grower bid was $67.33 per cwt in November, compared to the lowest monthly average grower bid level of $60.93 per cwt in June.
