United States Baby Lima Beans Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 3/12 - STAT -- United States Baby Lima Beans markets finished the 2011-12 marketing year with prices offered to growers soaring 17% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Baby Lima Beans was USD$50.87 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $43.37 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $54.20 per cwt in December, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $45.00 per cwt in September.
