United States Great Northern Beans Grower Price Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 3/12 - STAT -- United States Great Northern Beans markets finished the 2011-12 marketing year with prices offered to growers soaring 23% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.

The average price paid for Great Northern Beans was USD$41.98 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $34.26 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $42.60 per cwt in June, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $41.20 per cwt in September.
