United States Large Lima Beans Grower Price Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 3/12 - STAT -- United States Large Lima Beans markets finished the 2011-12 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 9% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.

The average price paid for Large Lima Beans was USD$54.62 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $60.24 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $58.00 per cwt in November, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $47.00 per cwt in June.
