China's Mung Bean Imports Start With Soft Tendency

PANAMA - Apr 3/24 - SNS -- China's imports of mung beans during January fell compared to the previous month, judging from data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.

Imports for the first month of the calendar year totalled 23,100 metric tons (MT), down 46% from 42,969 MT the previous month. The data showed imports is down 8% from the 25,226 MT recorded during the same month last year.

The most recent movement data reported Myanmar was largest export origin, shipping 9,810 MT. Ethiopia was the second most important export origin shipping 6,282 MT, followed by Uzbekistan at 5,198 MT.
