Broadbean Exports From Australia Open With Firm Note
PANAMA - Apr 11/22 - SNS -- Australia's shipments of broadbeans during February made modest gains, rising compared to the previous month, judging from data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Shipments reached 112,017 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 6% from the 105,419 MT shipped the previous month. Export sales so far total 299,017 MT, versus 272,851 during the previous marketing year.
Current movement data showed Egypt was largest importer, buying 100,981 MT for the month. Saudi Arabia was the second most important importer taking 3,005 MT, followed by Indonesia at 2,449 MT.
