Beans Tame World Pulse Price Index Gains

VANCOUVER - Sep 28/14 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained their relatively active trading tone through the past week, with buyers attracted to lower average prices.

This was reflected in the U.S. dry bean index, which dipped from 154.42 to 144.34 points.

This decline helped offset some of the increases in lentils, with the world pulse price index only advancing 0.5 points to 165.2.
