France Export Pace Improves
VANCOUVER - May 7/14 - SNS -- The pace of field pea exports from France improved in March, rising above the previous month but falling below year earlier levels, according to data compiled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
Export shipments during the month totalled 15,875 metric tons (MT), up 27% from the 12,470 MT shipped the previous month, but down 20% from the 19,955 MT shipped the same month last year.
Most peas were shipped to European destinations, with Germany the most important, followed by Belgium and Netherlands.
