Sugarcane Seedings Rise 1%
WASHINGTON - Jun 28/13 - SNS -- Harvested area of sugarcane in the United States for sugar and seed is forecast at 907,500 acres for the 2013 crop year, up 1% from a year ago, according to the USDA seeded area estimates for 2013.
Growers in Louisiana reported favorable growing conditions this year.
