Markets Worry About Yellow Peas
VANCOUVER - Apr 27/13 - SNS -- International field pea markets were not entirely happy with Canadas seeding intentions for 2013, because of the risk yellow pea production could fall too far.
There is strong interest among growers in expanding land in green peas. So much so that planting seed availability will put a cap on total acreage.
Even so, market participant remain nervous about adding to new crop positions.
