Movement Pressure Eases in Peas
VANCOUVER - Apr 6/13 - SNS -- International field pea markets finished the week's trading unchanged to slightly easier against a modest slowdown in demand from exporters to cover pending shipments.
Movement during March was exceptional, with unofficial export shipments setting a new high for the current marketing year.
Bulk conventional shipments of peas for the August 1 through March 31 period are almost 12% above the same period last year at 1.356 million metric tons (MT).
