Improved Export Movement in Peas
VANCOUVER - Mar 23/13 - SNS -- Field pea markets maintained their firm tone through the past week, supported by strength in green peas and improved export movement for whole yellow peas from Canada.
Unofficial export data suggests that total Canadian field pea exports have pulled ahead of last year.
At the same time, inventory levels in the bulk handling system suggest export clearances will remain strong through at least the middle of April.
