Peas Strengthen on Tightening Stocks
VANCOUVER - Mar 9/13 - SNS -- Field pea markets finished the week's trading on a firm note against tightening stocks in the major exporting countries and continued demand.
Markets have been working hard to consume any remaining green peas available in the hands of exporters, while demand for yellow peas has improved dramatically.
Canada's 2012-13 marketing campaign got off to a strong start, with brisk movement recorded in the August through October period.
