Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 352,800 MT
WINNIPEG - Mar 8/13 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 352,800 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-13 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 175,500 from 177,300 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 63,400 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,086,300 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,086,300 MT peas down 43,000 from 1,129,300 MT last year.
