Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 362,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Mar 1/13 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 362,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-13 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 205,300 from 156,700 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 9,500 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,022,900 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,022,900 MT peas down 106,000 from 1,128,900 MT last year.
