Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 215,100 MT
WINNIPEG - Jan 25/13 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 215,100 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-13 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 76,100 from 139,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 9,500 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 885,400 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 885,400 MT peas down 155,900 from 1,041,300 MT last year.
