Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 168,400 MT
WINNIPEG - Jan 11/13 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 168,400 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-13 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 10,400 from 158,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 65,200 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 840,900 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 840,900 MT peas down 167,600 from 1,008,500 MT last year.
