Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 229,200 MT
WINNIPEG - Dec 14/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 229,200 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 13,200 from 216,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 10,100 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 700,500 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 700,500 MT peas down 203,600 from 904,100 MT last year.
