VANCOUVER - Dec 7/12 - SNS -- Field pea markets maintained their firm tone through the past week in steady buying interest.
Canada's final crop production numbers for the year was somewhat surprising, but is unlikely to have a significant impact on price because of strong supply and demand fundamentals.
The unofficial green pea estimate attracted the most controversy because it was significantly higher than some processors believe was possible.
