Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 214,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Dec 7/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 214,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 45,100 from 259,100 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 600 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 690,400 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 690,400 MT peas down 153,300 from 843,700 MT last year.
