Argentine Green Pea Crop Fails
VANCOUVER - Oct 28/12 - SNS -- Field pea markets maintained their firm tone through the past week, despite evidence the pace of exports from Canada is slowing.
Markets were helped by reports of serious problems with Argentina's green pea crop.
Production was expected to a record 200,000 metric tons (MT) this year, but heavy rains have changed the outlook.
