Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 260,500 MT
WINNIPEG - Oct 25/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 260,500 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 36,600 from 297,100 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 20,000 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 510,900 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 510,900 MT peas down 96,200 from 607,100 MT last year.
