Few Changes in Beans
VANCOUVER - Oct 12/12 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were little changed during the week, with a large number of market participants attending this year's SIAL food show in Paris.
North American markets finished with a softer undertone with product available from growers moving slightly ahead of the immediate needs of the market.
This was noted by the USDA market analysts during the week, who noted that the harvest has been advancing at a faster pace than last year, with the result growers are selling larger quantities of beans than normally expected for this time of year.
