Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 284,900 MT
WINNIPEG - Oct 12/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 284,900 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 36,500 from 321,400 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 19,400 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 450,300 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 450,300 MT peas down 72,800 from 523,100 MT last year.
