U.S. Mustard Inventories Rise, Safflower Fall

WASHINGTON - Sep 28/12 - SNS -- This year's mustard seed carry-over was up sharply from last year, but safflowe ending stocks were down significantly in the United States, according to the USDA's stocks in all positions estimates.

Mustard seed inventory was pegged at 9.5 million pounds, up from 3.38 million as of September 1 last year.

Safflower seed inventory was pegged at 7.15 million pounds, down from 14.3 million as of September 1 last year.
