Mixed Week For Field Peas
VANCOUVER - Aug 31/12 - SNS -- International field pea markets posted a mixed finish against ongoing movement of product to the Indian subcontinent and developed demand from feed buyers in Spain and western Europe.
Markets in the United States are being helped by continued demand form the USDA for split peas for shipment as food aid.
Some fill in buying by exporters also added support to markets during the first half of the month.
