Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 284,500 MT
WINNIPEG - Aug 24/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 284,500 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 59,400 from 225,100 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 20,000 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 20,400 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 20,400 MT peas down 52,900 from 73,300 MT last year.
