Myanmar's Pulse Exports Ease in JuneWASHINGTON - Aug 14/12 - SNS -- Dry edible bean and other pulse exports from Myanmar eased in June, falling from the previous month and rising just 2% over last year to 155,490 metric tons (MT). Of this total, 63% went to India or 97,784 MT, followed by China with 13% or 20,213 MT, and Singapore 9% or 14,345 MT. Year–to-date exports for 2012 are 856,013 MT, 33% greater than last year's 645,915 MT. Matpe (black gram) accounted for 38% of the total exports, followed by Toor whole 35% and Mung bean at 18%.
