Green Pea Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/12 - STAT -- Canadian Green Pea markets finished the 2011-12 marketing year with prices soaring 20% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Green Pea was USD$424.13 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual market value of $354.07 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bulk on a delivered track Vancouver basis.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $470.00 per MT in June, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $389.00 per MT in August.
