USDA Tenders for 90 MT Beans
KANSAS CITY - Jun 8/12 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 90 metric tons (MT) of pinto beans for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 200001089 the USDA is buying pulses packed in 50 kg bags. In releasing the tender invitation, the USDA said, "Commodities purchased by FSA on or after June 15, 2012, may be stored or handled only by facilities licensed under the United States Warehouse Act (USWA)."
Purchases are for shipment from interior plants between July 16 to August 6 and between August 7 to August 28 for plants located at port.
