USDA Cancels Food Aid Tender
KANSAS CITY - May 31/12 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here cancelled its PL-480 food aid tender for 4,700 metric tons (MT) of pulses.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 200001057 the USDA was seeking to buy kabuli chickpeas, peas, and lentils for shipment from interior plants between July 1 to July 22 and between July 23 to August 13 for plants located at port.
In issuing the cancellation notice, the USDA indicated the tender could be reissued at a future date, on its own or as part of another tender.
