Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 81,800 MT
WINNIPEG - May 25/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 81,800 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 91,000 from 172,800 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 27,500 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,438,200 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,438,200 MT peas down 712,900 from 2,151,100 MT last year.
