Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 99,600 MT
WINNIPEG - May 18/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 99,600 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 103,000 from 202,600 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 73,800 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,410,700 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,410,700 MT peas down 702,500 from 2,113,200 MT last year.
