USDA Tenders for 330 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - May 8/12 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 330 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 200001018 the USDA is buying pulses packed in 50 kg bags. In releasing the tender invitation, the USDA said, "Peas and Lentils Section 1.1 C has been added to Commodity Requirements Document PL6 as follows: Yellow peas may grade U.S. No 3 based on damage (other than weevil-damage or heat damage)."
Purchases are for shipment from interior plants between June 16 to July 7 and between July 8 to July 29 for plants located at port.
