Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 181,600 MT
WINNIPEG - May 4/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 181,600 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 20,100 from 201,700 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 32,500 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,303,600 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,303,600 MT peas down 742,300 from 2,045,900 MT last year.
