Mixed Finish For Edible Beans
VANCOUVER - Mar 10/12 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note amid relatively light activity.
North American markets eased slightly during the week, with the spot price index for U.S. beans slipping nine point to finish the week at 1783, while the grower bid index was down 14 points at 1608.
Argentine markets were steady against ongoing worries about seeding this year's white alubia bean crop because of dry conditions affected 65% of the bean area.
