Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 145,900 MT
WINNIPEG - Feb 25/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 145,900 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 196,100 from 342,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 26,800 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,128,900 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,128,900 MT peas down 289,400 from 1,418,300 MT last year.
