Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 164,100 MT
WINNIPEG - Feb 16/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 164,100 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 131,400 from 295,500 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 11,600 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,081,700 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,081,700 MT peas down 321,500 from 1,403,200 MT last year.
