Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 154,500 MT
WINNIPEG - Feb 3/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 154,500 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 161,900 from 316,400 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
There were no exports reported during the week at Canada's licensed terminal elevators. The season to date total is 1,041,300 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,041,300 MT peas down 246,200 from 1,287,500 MT last year.
