Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 158,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Jan 20/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 158,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 74,100 from 232,100 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 10,800 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,019,300 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,019,300 MT peas down 207,200 from 1,226,500 MT last year.
