Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 142,600 MT
WINNIPEG - Jan 6/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 142,600 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 120,600 from 263,200 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 69,100 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,008,000 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,008,000 MT peas down 131,100 from 1,139,100 MT last year.
