Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 271,400 MT
WINNIPEG - Nov 4/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 271,400 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 60,700 from 210,700 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 71,500 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 678,600 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 678,600 MT peas down 136,300 from 814,900 MT last year.
