Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 225,100 MT
WINNIPEG - Aug 29/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 225,100 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 15,100 from 210,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 100 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 73,300 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 73,300 MT peas down 100,200 from 173,500 MT last year.
