VANCOUVER - Aug 20/11 - SNS -- Field pea markets were little changed in light trade during the past week, though there was evidence of a weaker underlying sentiment in yellow peas.
With harvesting underway in both Canada and the United States, some processors adopted a defensive posture with growers.
Saskatchewan's harvest started the week at 10% complete, up from 3% last year but well below the five-year average of 29% complete by the middle of August.
