Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 144,600 MT
WINNIPEG - Aug 19/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 144,600 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 35,000 from 179,600 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 36,700 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 73,200 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 73,200 MT peas down 52,800 from 126,000 MT last year.
