Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 167,200 MT
WINNIPEG - Aug 15/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 167,200 metric tons (MT) by the end of the first shipping week of the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 27,000 from 140,200 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 36,400 MT during the week under review. Export shipments so far this season total 36,400 MT peas down 60,200 from 96,600 MT last year.
